Earlier this month, residents at West End Boulevard and Jewel Street were awakened in the middle of the night by the sound of water slamming into a house from a main break. Luckily for the occupants, a huge tree protected their property from receiving anything more than superficial damage.
A group of local pastors, community members and potential S&WB recruits recently had a tour of the Carrollton Water Purification Plant and Drainage Pumping Station 5, led by General Superintendent Joe Becker and arranged by Executive Director Cedric S. Grant.

It was all smiles at Sewerage & Water Board’s monthly Board meeting. The S&WB Water Dogz received yet another operations team victory, this time in Texas. This is their third state championship win.
