The $4.7M Lower Ninth Ward Northwest Group A Project is scheduled to begin early December 2017. The project was awarded to Fleming Construction Co. LLC, and was designed by the architectural firm of Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc.

Two FEMA-funded construction projects that will improve infrastructure in the Lower Ninth Ward are tentatively scheduled to start construction later this year.

Two FEMA-funded construction projects that will improve infrastructure in New Orleans East are tentatively scheduled to start construction before the end of the year. The combined value of the Read Boulevard East Group A and Read Boulevard West Group A projects is $24M.

The Department of Public Works will begin several road projects this summer in the Lower Ninth Ward. Projects will consist of Incidental Road Repairs, Non-Paving Incidentals, Patch Mill & Overlay and Patch Concrete.
