The State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), working with the City of New Orleans will begin a patch, mill and overlay project on St. Charles Avenue between Louisiana and Napoleon Avenues.  The $1.3 million project is scheduled to begin in May and will take approximately five months to complete. 

The City of New Orleans’ construction contractor, Boh Bros Construction Co. LLC, completed work in Phase A (Louisiana Avenue to Third Street) and Phase B (Third Street to Felicity Street) of the St. Charles Avenue Repaving Project.  Work is now substantially complete in Phase III (Felicity Street to Calliope Street), pending a surveyor’s which is expected to be complete in spring 2018.

The City of New Orleans’ construction contractor Boh Bros Construction Co. LLC has been working extended hours and most weekends to wrap up the $4.3M St. Charles Avenue Repaving Project. The project is now 90 percent complete; the City and Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) have begun the inspection process to verify elevations of the new roadway and develop a punch list.

Crews remobilized on the $4.3M St. Charles Avenue Repaving Project on February 14 to complete the final phase between Felicity Street and Calliope Street. The project is a joint effort between the City of New Orleans and Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development (LaDOTD).

The $4.3M St. Charles Avenue Repaving Project, which is a joint effort between the City of New Orleans and Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, will be substantially complete by the end of January. Crews will demobilize by January 31 in preparation for the first Uptown route Mardi Gras parade on February 2.
