Work continues in the $7.3M Village De L’Est Group B project in New Orleans East. This month, crews poured new sidewalks and driveway aprons on Endeavors, Expedition, and Explorers streets, and completed pavement repair on Beaucaire Street. Pavement restoration is progressing on Pointe Coupee, Lourdes and Savoie streets, along with the waterline installation on Dwyer Road.

Construction is progressing on the Village De L’Est Group B project. Crews are installing new sidewalks and driveway aprons in some areas, and making repairs to concrete roadways throughout the project area.  Weather permitting the project is slated to be complete in fall 2020

Construction on the second project in the Village De L’Est area is approximately forty percent complete.  The City’s contractor, Beverly Construction Company, LLC, continues to work on sidewalks and driveways on Endeavors Court and Expedition Drive.
