More blocks within the  $6.3M Treme-Lafitte Group A project area saw lots of activity in August, as crews began removal of the roadway surface in the 2000- 2400 blocks of St. Philip, Governor Nichols, and North Johnson streets. After completing the road excavation, workers began installing a new base course and a new layer of asphalt.  

The $6.3M Treme-Lafitte Group A infrastructure and road improvement project is progressing as construction crews passed the 25 percent completion mark in July.
