City contractor Hard Rock Construction, LLC completed installation of Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at the intersections of Memphis, Porteous, General Haig and Bragg streets on the Lakeview North Group A project. They also began asphalt paving and patching on Chapelle and Catina streets. The original project scope is 95 percent complete.

City contractor Hard Rock Construction, LLC completed placing asphalt throughout the Lakeview North Group A project in April – including the 6300 block of Marshall Foch Street and the 6500 block of General Haig Street. This moves the project to 91 percent complete with the original plans.

FEMA has approved additional work that will promote positive drainage, as well as address sidewalk and roadway subsidence that was not included in the original plans. The additional areas of construction will extend the by four months into summer 2018.

Hard Rock Construction, LLC continues work on the $2.7M Lakeview North Group A Project this month. Since expanding the scope of the project, crews have completed asphalt placement in the 6800 and 7100 blocks of General Haig Street. They have also removed damaged concrete in the 7100 block of Marshal Foch Street and the 6800 block of Catina Street in preparation to replace it with a new, smooth surface.
