Roubion Roads and Streets, LLC construction crews are approximately 15 percent complete repairing damaged concrete panels on Lacour Monique Street from Rue Delphine to Rue Colette, and Eton Street from Berkley Drive to Lacour Monique Street in the Bocage neighborhood. The $400,000 project is scheduled to last through June.
Weather permitting, concrete placements are scheduled to occur about once a week until the project is completed.
The project scope of work includes:
- Removing and replacing damaged concrete panels;
- Installing new Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at appropriate intersections;
- Making minimal sidewalk, driveway apron and foot lap adjustments; and
- Making catch basin and drainage repairs.
Throughout the duration of construction, parking may be limited within the construction zone; however, no full road closures are expected. Please plan to park at other locations and expect traffic delays/additional time to reach your destination.
In general, construction crews will be working from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday work may be permitted when inclement weather prevents work from occurring as scheduled during the previous week. Residents are reminded to use caution when driving, bicycling and walking near active construction sites.
