Durr Heavy Construction Co. is currently working on Anson Street, Rue Michelle, Vivian Court, Bender Drive, Huntlee Drive, Somerset Drive and Copernicus Street. Work in Algiers Point, which was delayed due to high water levels in the Mississippi River, is anticipated to resume in the October time frame.
Residents are asked to be mindful of ‘No Parking’ signs installed prior to roadwork. Vehicles are eligible for towing if not moved within 24 hours once signs are in place.
The $3.7M Westbank Group A project is the first of two planned FEMA-funded construction projects on the Westbank of New Orleans. View the project map here.
