The Lower Ninth Ward Northeast Group B   project began in late June with the excavation of St. Maurice Avenue (between North Roman and North Prieur streets). Crews are currently excavating in preparation for installing new water and drain lines. Residents will be notified of work that will impact their access and/or cause disruption to their utilities.

Drennan adjusted their work schedule in order to begin concrete pours on the Lower Ninth Ward Northwest Group B project in August. While crews continue with waterline installations and tie-ins, concrete crews are being deployed to begin the forming and pouring back of roadways.

Command Construction, LLC crews continued waterline tie-ins this month on the Little Woods Group A project. After several test closures, crews began performing tie-ins in July. All lines are expected to be tied in by late September.

Beverly Construction crews entered into the final phase as paving operations began on Prentiss Avenue at Chef Menteur Highway on the Read Boulevard Group D project.  New waterlines, upgraded drainage and roadway paving are expected to be complete by early fall.

Palmisano Construction, in collaberation with Sewerage and Water Board New Orleans (SWBNO), continued waterline tie-ins on the Read East Boulevard Group C project.  Crews are also working to complete all water-line point repairs.
