Paving on the $2.3M Pines Village Group B project is approximately 90 percent complete, water line work is at 95 percent and the original drainage work and repairs are 100 percent complete. Additional drainage work was added to Francis Drive and crews began working on that segment in mid-August.
The project covers the 6200-6400 blocks of Ransom Street; 6300 block of Prentiss Avenue; 6100 block of South Hermes Street; and the 6100 block of Selma Street. Scope of work for the project includes replacing damaged underground drainage lines, repaving the roadway, replacing damaged sidewalks and driveway aprons, and installing Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at intersections.
