Fleming Construction, LLC subcontractor, Rue Contractors, continue sidewalk, pavement, and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb work on the 600-700 blocks of North Alexander Street. Crews are continuing pavement, sidewalk, and curbing operations on North Olympia Street and are starting the same work on St. Peter Street this month as part of the City Park Group A  project. Additionally, drain and sewer point repair operations are underway on Dumaine, Olga, and Moss streets and will move to Pichelop Street once Dumaine Street’s work is complete.

Wallace C. Drennan, Inc. crews began excavating the street and installing new water lines this month as part of the Marlyville-Fontainebleau Group C  infrastructure improvement project. Crews recently completed sewer line repairs and house line installations on State Street between Walmsley and Fontainebleau and have moved on to conduct the same repairs and house line installations on State Street between Pritchard Place and Grape Street.  A second construction crew has started work on Neron Place.

The $11.9M Black Pearl/East Carrollton Group A project began construction in August 2020. Hard Rock Construction, LLC continues to make significant progress, with completed sewer point repairs on Adams, Birch, Burdette, Fern, Hickory, Huso, Jeanette, Pearl, Plum, Short, and Zimpel streets. The contractor has also begun roadway excavation and concrete placement, with that work expected to continue throughout the project in the coming month. The project is expected to be completed in spring 2022.

The $5.1M Black Pearl Group B project is set to begin construction in December 2020. Designed by Jacobs Engineering Group, the project is being constructed by Infinity Construction. Click here to view a map of the project scope. The project is expected to be completed in Winter 2021.

In December, Palmisano construction crews began performing drainage point repairs associated with the Lakeview North Group C infrastructure improvement project. Crews are also performing exploratory excavation work on several blocks to verify the location, depth and size of the utility lines underneath the roadway.
