The Department of Public Works’ construction contractor, Hard Rock Construction, LLC, is now 15 percent complete with the first of three planned FEMA-funded construction projects in the Village de L’est neighborhood. The total value of planned work in the neighborhood is more than $20M.
The first contract’s scope of work was divided into 14 sections. To date, work has been completed in five sections and crews are on schedule to start working in the next section before the end of the month. The scope of work varies depending on the condition of the roadway surface and underground utilities. View the project map here to see what work is planned on your block.
