Fleming Construction, LLC crews continue sewer and pavement work as part of the City Park Group A infrastructure improvement project. This month, crews are working on Roosevelt and Picheloup Places performing sewer line repairs and replacements. They have recently begun the same work on North Hennessey Street. Pavement work continues on St. Ann, North Solomon, and Stewart streets.  Next month, full recosntruction of St. John Court begins.

All residents will continue to be informed ahead of any construction work that will involve utility disruption and / or impact their parking and access to their street and driveways.

This $6.1M project was designed by ECM Consultants, Inc., and the scope of work varies block by block but includes the following:

• Resurfacing the roadway with asphalt or concrete;
• Repairing damaged curbs;
• Repairing damaged sidewalks and driveway aprons;
• Installing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant curb ramps at intersections; and
• Replacing/repairing damaged underground water and drainage lines.

Construction began in September 2020 and is scheduled to be completed in fall 2021, weather permitting.
