Unforeseen site conditions altered the scope and schedule of the Youth Study Center Streets Construction Project in the Pilotland neighborhood. The project is now scheduled to be complete in February 2018. Dieudonne Enterprises, LLC construction crews had temporarily demobilized from the site as they awaited approval to increase the planned scope of work.

The first of two planned FEMA-funded construction projects, which will help improve road conditions on the Westbank of New Orleans, is currently out to bid.

The City has completed major construction on the first phase of the FQIIP in the 100–400 blocks of Bourbon Street.

The $4.3M St. Charles Avenue Repaving Project, which is a joint effort between the City of New Orleans and Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, will be substantially complete by the end of January. Crews will demobilize by January 31 in preparation for the first Uptown route Mardi Gras parade on February 2.

During excavation, the City identified a need for additional drainage elements under the roadway on the S. Galvez Street Reconstruction Project in Central City.
