Command Construction Industries, LLC crews are currently 50 percent complete with the Read Boulevard West Group A project. This is the first of two projects planned in the neighborhood.

Construction on Arthur, Hickerson, Gabriel, and Evangeline drives is ongoing with concrete panel replacement, mill and overlay, and incidental road repairs. Residents should expect an approximately 21-day timeframe with limited access to driveways. View the project map noting locations here of planned work in area.

The scope work varies by block but includes the following types of work:

• Patch Mill / Overlay: Repaving the asphalt roadway from curb to curb and repairing damaged sidewalks;
• Patch Concrete: Removing damaged portions of the concrete roadway and replacing it with new smooth concrete pavement;
• Incidental Road Repairs: Removing damaged portions of the asphalt roadway and replacing it with new smooth pavement; and
• Non-Paving Incidentals: Repairing damaged sidewalks, driveway aprons and curbs within the public right-of-way.
