Dieudonne Enterprises, LLC construction crews are now 45 percent complete with the Youth Study Center Streets construction project in the Pilotland neighborhood.
Work on Encampment Street is mostly complete; crews are now performing asphalt work on Milton St., concrete work on Davey St. and excavation on Cadillac St.
Following installation of the new asphalt pavement, crews will repair damaged sidewalks and driveway aprons and install American with Disabilities Act compliant curb ramps at intersections.
The $2.4M project improves access to the recently built McDonogh 35 High School and the Youth Study Center. This is the second of three projects that will improve the conditions of infrastructure in the St. Bernard neighborhood.
The project is on schedule to be completed in the fall of 2017
