Command Construction Industries, LLC crews have completed 15 percent of the Read Boulevard West Group A Project construction. This is the first of two projects planned in the neighborhood.
Two construction crews are currently working on Cerise Avenue, Hammond Highway, and Arthur, Donna, Charlene and Grant streets, installing new curbs and concrete driveways. Crews have altered their originally planned schedule of 8 hours a day, five days a week to 11 hours a day, four days a week. Concrete pours are scheduled as frequently as once a week. - Patch Concrete: Removing damaged portions of the concrete roadway and replacing it with new, smooth concrete pavement;
- Incidental Road Repairs: Removing damaged portions of the asphalt roadway and replacing it with new, smooth pavement; and
- Non-Paving Incidentals: Repairing damaged sidewalks, driveway aprons and curbs within the public right-of-way.
