Construction crews are 90 percent complete with water line installations on the Pines Village Group A project.  Additionally, crews have completed all drainage work on the project, finished 80 percent of the planned repaving work and have begun installing new sidewalks and driveways.  The overall scope of the project also includes installing Americans with Disabilities Ace-compliant curb ramps at intersections.

The Gentilly Resilience District (GRD) is a combination of resilience programs and projects in the targeted area of Gentilly, designed to reduce flood risk, slow land subsidence, improve energy reliability and spur neighborhood revitalization. 

Fleming Construction is now working to construct “green alleyways” from Press Drive all the way through the subdivision to Congress Street as part of the Pontilly Neighborhood Stormwater Network. Contractors built small aquifers underneath a semipermeable surface that will absorb stormwater and divert it into the city’s drainage system.

The Lake Terrace and Oaks Group D  project began in July with excavation work on Oriole Street. Crews plan to begin installing new waterlines and drainage on August.

The $4.2M Filmore North Group B project began construction in July 2020. This project was designed by Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) Corporation and is being constructed by Fleming Construction Company, LLC.
