Dieudonne Enterprises, LLC construction crews are now 35 percent complete with the Youth Study Center Streets construction project in the Pilotland neighborhood. The project is on schedule to be completed in the fall of 2017.
Concrete paving operations have gone well and crews are now installing new sidewalks and driveway aprons on Davey and Milton streets.
Construction crews are still planning to address the conditions of Cadillac St. at the end of the project timeline. Following installation of the new asphalt pavement, crews will repair damaged sidewalks and driveway aprons and install ADA-compliant curb ramps at intersections.
The $2.4M project will improve access to the recently built McDonogh 35 High School and the Youth Study Center. This is the second of three projects that will improve the conditions of infrastructure in the St. Bernard neighborhood.
