Durr Heavy Construction, LLC crews are currently 5 percent complete with the Westbank Group A project scope. Crews are currently excavating damaged concrete panels, asphalt pavement and damaged sidewalks in the Algiers Point neighborhood.
The Westbank Group A project is the first of two planned FEMA-funded construction projects on the Westbank of New Orleans. This first project was designed by Richard C. Lambert Consultants, LLC and includes approximately $3.7M in construction work throughout the Westbank.
The City hosted a pre-construction public meeting in April to discuss the project’s construction sequencing and anticipated impacts. View a copy of the public meeting presentation here. Sign up to receive Westbank Group A project updates here.
