In May, Hard Rock Construction, LLC crews completed drainage work throughout the Lakeview South Group A project area and are now ready to begin forming and pouring curbs and gutters. Crews have already completed the curb work on Kenilworth Street and are preparing the area for the final phase of asphalt that will connect to Milne Boulevard. This project is now more than 80 percent complete and expected to be wrapped up this summer.
The $5.9M Patch, Mill, Overlay and Incidental Road Repair project is designed to remove damaged portions of the asphalt roadway and replace it with new, smooth pavement. The project was designed by Richard C. Lambert Consultants, LLC.
The scope of work varies block by block but includes the following:
- Patch Concrete: Removing damaged portions of the concrete roadway and replacing it with new smooth concrete pavement; and
- Incidental Road Repairs: Removing damaged portions of the asphalt roadway and replacing it with new smooth pavement.
Details of the construction sequencing and timeline were first made available at the pre-construction public meeting. View a copy of the public meeting presentation and details about construction sequencing here.
