The $7.3M St. Claude Group C project broke ground in March 2020 and continues to make significant progress improving infrastructure in the St. Claude neighborhood. This full-depth reconstruction project was designed by Rahman & Associates, Inc. and is being constructed by Durr Heavy Construction, LLC. The current focus of work remains on Port Street with waterline and sewer line replacements. Catch basin and manhole construction continue, which will help reduce flooding issues in the future. Roadway restoration is being completed on Montegut Street, and the contractor continues moving toward project completion in late summer 2021, weather permitting.

- Full Reconstruction: Repairing sewage, water, and drainage lines, rebuild the street entirely, and repair sidewalks and curbs.
The City of New Orleans hosted a virtual meeting via WebEx in April 2020 to discuss anticipated impacts to the community. View a copy of the presentation here. For more information about this project and other upcoming work, please visit roadwork.nola.gov or call 504.658.ROAD (7623).
