The Gravier St. Reconstruction project is approximately 80 percent complete and on schedule to be done this spring. The project, which spans between S. Galvez St. and S. Broad St., will help improve juror access to the Orleans Parish Courthouse and the Falstaff Building. The approximately $6 million reconstruction project includes replacing the underground water, sewer and drainage lines, repaving the roadway in concrete, repairing sidewalks and installing American with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at intersections. The project scope also includes installing the foundation that will be used to put in a traffic signal in the future at the intersection of Gravier and S. Broad streets.
