Construction on the Filmore North Group A project is in its closing stages. The project, which is estimated at $6.5M (an increase of approximately $2M from the original project scope), is currently at approximately 98% complete and on track to be wrapped up in April 2020.

The St. Claude Group C project is set to break ground in March 2020.

While crews were completing a sewer point repair in the St. Ann intersection last year during the Bourbon Phase 2 project, the condition of the sewer line prompted an additional assessment between Dauphine and Bourbon.  The results indicated that the block needed a full reconstruction.  Like the sequence for Bourbon Phase 2, Entergy Gas and Entergy Electric completed their work in advance of the city’s project. 

The Westbank Group B project is set to break ground in late March 2020. This $4M project was designed by Buchart Horn, Inc. and will be constructed by Fleming Construction Company, LLC. Click here to view a map of the planned work.

This summer, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will begin an improvement project along North Claiborne between Poydras Street and St. Bernard Avenue. The project will also include LA 39 from St. Bernard Avenue to the west side of the Judge Seeber Bridge.
