Work is progressing on Lake Terrace and Oaks Group A, the first of four construction projects planned for the Lake Terrace neighborhood. Last month, Palmisano Construction began replacing the asphalt roadway along Robert E. Lee Boulevard from Paris Avenue to Cartier Drive. Crew members have and will continue to assist residents in accessing their driveways during the removal of the original roadway (before new asphalt is placed). The asphalt roadway work will be completed by June 30.
This $2.5M Incidental Road Repair project includes the following scope of work:
- Patching the roadway with asphalt;
- Replacing damaged portions of concrete with new, level concrete;
- Repairing damaged curbs and gutters;
- Repairing damaged sidewalks and driveway aprons;
- Installing Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at intersection; and
- Replacing/repairing damaged underground water, and drainage lines.
Work is projected to be complete on the entire project in summer 2019.
