Construction on the second project in the Village De L’Est area continues. Crews are working on the north side of Endeavors and Expedition. The project is anticipated to be completed in mid-summer 2020, weather permitting. Learn more about the project by viewing a copy of the public meeting presentation here.

Command Construction Industries, LLC crews continue to work on the remaining curbs and roadway patches throughout the Read Boulevard West Group A project. This is the first of two projects planned in the neighborhood.

The $4.4M Filmore South Group A project was designed by Volkert, Inc. and is being constructed by Hard Rock Construction, LLC. The project is tentatively scheduled to be completed in fall 2020, weather permitting.

The Filmore North Group A project is currently estimated at $6.5M, with an increase of approximately $2M in scope. Crews continue roadway construction throughout the project area.

This $1.5M St. Claude Drainage Improvements Project began on Montegut Street in late October, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded project includes a full street reconstruction.
