The Canal Boulevard Full Depth Reconstruction Project is underway and crews have begun installing new waterlines in the northbound lanes. 

Entergy Electric remains onsite performing utility work on southbound Canal Blvd. southbound lanes have been temporarily converted to accommodate two-way traffic.

This $5.3M project includes: repairing sewage, water, and drainage lines; rebuilding the street entirely; repairing sidewalks and curbs; installing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps; and installing a bike lane. The project was designed by Integrated Logistical Support, Inc. and is being constructed by Palmisano Construction.
