Inclement weather and water leaks have contributed to delays on the $6.3M Mid-City Group A infrastructure and road improvement project. Currently crews are working on paving areas with newly repaired water leaks and sewer lines. This remaining work has shifted completion to October 2021. Final walkthroughs are expected to begin later this month.
The community will continue to be informed ahead of any work that will involve utility disruption and / or impact their parking and access to their streets. Residents are asked to continue to be mindful of “No Parking” signs installed prior to roadwork. Vehicles are eligible for towing if not moved within 24 hours of signs being placed. Residents are encouraged to call the RoadworkNOLA hotline if reasonable accommodations are needed during construction.
This project was designed by Infinity Engineering and is being constructed by Hard Rock Construction, LLC. The entire project was originally scheduled to be complete this fall; however, additional scope has been added.
