Hard Rock Construction crews, in close collaberation with the Sewarage and Water Board of New Orleans, have been working on waterline installations and tie-ins on the $13.6M Broadmoor Group A. Crews have completed a series of water line test closures, as well as full water line tie-ins. Crews are also working on roadway and sidewalk restoration with careful coordination in areas that have live tree roots.
Currently, crews are working on South Tonti, Jena and Milan streets. Weekend work has been approved to make up for time lost to inclement weather.
The community will continue to be informed ahead of any work that will involve utility disruption and / or impact their parking and access to their streets. Residents are asked to continue to be mindful of “No Parking” signs installed prior to roadwork. Vehicles are eligible for towing if not moved within 24 hours of signs being placed. Residents requiring reasonable accommodations during construction are encouraged to call the hotline.
This project was designed by Digital Engineering and Imaging, Inc and expected to be completed in spring 2022.
