After the approval of additional work on Upperline Street, Hard Rock Construction crews will resume water line work as a part of the Freret Group A  project in November. Crews recently completed 90 percent of the asphalt removal on the 2800 block of Upperline but paused to address a needed redesign of the water linework on the block.  FEMA, the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works and the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans recently approved the improvements to the original design, giving the contractor the ability to complete the work on this block.

The $7.3M St. Claude Group C project, which broke ground in March 2020, continues its construction progress in the St. Claude neighborhood. This full depth reconstruction project was designed by Rahman & Associates Inc. and is being constructed by Durr Heavy Construction, LLC. Current focus of work remains on Galvez, Montegut, and Port streets.

The $2.8M Lake Vista Group A project began construction in June 2020 and continues to progress on schedule. Designed by C & S Consultants, Inc., the project is being constructed by Roubion Roads and Streets, LLC. In the coming month, construction is expected to continue its improvement of the Lake Vista neighborhood with a focus on Gulf, Heron, Killdeer, Lark, N. Lark, S. Lark, and Oriole streets

The $4.4M Filmore South Group A project, which broke ground in August 2019, continues to make significant progress in its improvement of this Gentilly neighborhood. The project was designed by Volkert, Inc. and is being constructed by Hard Rock Construction, LLC. Click here to view a map of the project scope.

The $4.2M Filmore North Group B project began construction in July 2020 and is continuing its work to improve this Gentilly neighborhood. The project was designed by Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) Corporation and is being constructed by Fleming Construction Company, LLC. Current focus of construction remains Perlita Street between Prentiss Avenue and Robert E. Lee Boulevard.
