The Navarre Group A project reached the 60 percent completion rate in October. Crews began excavating the roadway and installing new roadway base on Middle Park Place and Navarre, as well as installing the asphalt binder course and wearing level roadway in the 5700 blocks of Rosemary Place, the 5500 block of West End, and on Coscino and West Park Place. Curbs and gutters were installed on Charles Place and Middle Park Place, and water line tie-ins were completed along the Rosemary Place/Milne Road alleyway. 

The project began in February 2020 with installation of new water lines. The project’s $7M worth of infrastructure improvements will affect nearly two dozen streets in the area. In addition to repairing and replacing damaged roadways and patching concrete, crews will repair sidewalks, driveway aprons and curbs on various streets throughout the project area. Work is scheduled to be complete in summer 2021, weather permitting.
