City of New Orleans, Department of Public Works contractor Palmisano Construction completed asphalt work on Robert E. Lee Boulevard this month as part of the Lake Terrace Group A project. Crews plan to move repaving work to Paris Avenue later this month and will continue to notify residents of any disruptions to traffic or access to driveways.
In addition, crews continue to work on waterline replacements on Elysian Fields Avenue and expect to finish those tie-ins in September.
The $2.5M Lake Terrace Group A Incidental Road Repair project includes the following scope of work:
- Patching the roadway with asphalt;
- Replacing damaged portions of concrete with new, level concrete;
- Repairing damaged curbs and gutters;
- Repairing damaged sidewalks and driveway aprons;
- Installing Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at intersections; and
- Replacing/repairing damaged underground water, and drainage lines.
