On September 2, 2020, Mayor Cantrell cut the ribbon on the newly completed $344K St. Phillip Street Department of Public Works Maintenance Project. The City bond-funded project resulted in a new 14-foot-wide roadway, new sidewalks and new street signs. The block-long stretch of St. Phillip Street, which runs through the Artspace Bell School Apartments in the Treme neighborhood, was reconstructed based on collective ideas proposed by Artspace residents.
