Construction of the third phase of Fleur de Lis Dr. between 30th St. and Old Hammond Hwy. in the West End neighborhood is well under way. The traditionally northbound travel lane is currently closed between 30^th and Portland streets as crews replace the existing sewer line.

Two-way traffic is diverted onto the traditionally southbound travel lane.

The $12M project was awarded to Command Construction Industries, LLC. The scope of work includes:

• Removing and replacing the underground water, sewer and drainage lines;
• Repaving the roadway; and
• Installing new sidewalks and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at intersections.

The project is scheduled to be completed in the Summer of 2018.
