The $7.3M Treme-Lafitte Group A project, which began construction in March 2020, is anticipated to complete work in Fall 2021. Crews have completed the majority of sidewalks and driveways along St. Phillip Street and adjacent streets on the northern and eastern sides of Louis Armstrong Park. Asphalt re-paving is completing along St. Ann Street, Dumaine Street and Treme Street, weather permitting. ADA-approved sidewalk infrastructure repair and installation will continue along Bayou Road and throughout the project site.

This month, Command Construction Industries crews continued asphalt excavation and roadway base work in the 1100-1200 blocks of Treme Street and on North Derbigny from Orleans Avenue to Bayou Road. Additional crews also began removing and replacing sidewalks and driveway aprons in the 1100-1300 blocks of Treme, and composite concrete work began in the 1700-2600 blocks of Dumaine Street. 

This month, Command Construction Industries crews are performing sewer line replacements on North Rocheblave Street at Orleans Avenue, St. Peters Street at North Robertson Street, St. Ann at North Prier Street to Interstate 10, and St. Ann Street at North Prier Street to Orleans Avenue. The work is part of the Treme-Lafitte Group B infrastructure improvement project.
