The City of New Orleans’ Department of Public Works continues development and implementation of the FEMA-funded Joint Infrastructure Recovery Roads program.

The Department of Public Works’ construction contractor, Hard Rock Construction, LLC has demobilized construction crews from the Desire neighborhood. Designed by Phoenix Global Engineering and Construction, Inc., this contract will be re-packaged into one larger infrastructure improvement project in the future.

The Department of Public Works’ construction contractor, Hard Rock Construction, LLC will demobilize construction crews from the Desire Group A project area within the next 30-days as part of the reorganization of the Capital Improvement Program.

The Department of Public Works’ construction contractor, Hard Rock Construction, LLC has started demolishing existing sidewalks and pouring back new concrete sidewalks in the Desire neighborhood. This is the first of four planned construction projects designed to improve infrastructure in the Desire neighborhood. Designed by Phoenix Global Engineering and Construction, Inc., this project is scheduled to be completed at the end of the year.
