A recent inspection of several New Orleans East bridges revealed that the structures are not safe for vehicular traffic. As a result, the City has closed the bridges while an engineer assesses the conditions and prepares engineering plans to repair the bridges.

The City of New Orleans Department of Sanitation assisted contractor Beverly Construction LLC with removing debris from the Lower Ninth Ward Northeast Group A project in preparation for sidewalk repairs and waterline replacements.

The Department of Public Works’ construction contractor, Roubion Roads and Streets, LLC. has substantially completed the Bullard Avenue project between Hayne Boulevard and Chef Menteur Highway.

The Department of Public Works’ construction contractor, Barriere Construction, LLC, has substantially completed repaving Curran Boulevard between Crowder Boulevard and Mayo Boulevard.
