Command Construction Industries, LLC crews began construction on the green infrastructure project on January 14, 2014.

The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) continually performs routine repairs to the city’s water and sewer pipes that lay below city streets. Once a repair is complete, the utility cut is backfilled temporarily with sand and crushed concrete. The temporary fill in these cuts often erodes, leaving uneven pavement.

The City is currently routing the contract for the New Orleans East Bridges Rehabilitation project, which was awarded to Durr Heavy Construction, LLC.  Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in the spring of 2019.

Command Construction Industries, LLC crews are currently 50 percent complete with the Read Boulevard West Group A project. This is the first of two projects planned in the neighborhood.

Hard Rock Construction, LLC crews have resumed work in the Read Boulevard East neighborhood. This is the first of six construction projects planned to improve the infrastructure in the Read Boulevard East neighborhood, which spans from Read Boulevard to I-10, I-510 and Chef Menteur Highway.
