Fleming Construction crews have completed sewer line point repairs, removal and replacement of exisitng sewer lines, and drainage line improvements on full-depth reconstruction sequences, St. John Court and Allard Boulevard. Crews have now tied in the new waterline to the existing water supply on Allard Boulevard.

The City of New Orleans recently hosted its Resilience Project Design Committee (RDRC) via a virtual public meeting to review the 60 percent design for the Lakeview City Park Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP)-funded construction project. 

Sherwod Forest Drive roadway improvements began in Febraury 2021; however due to adjustments in the scope of work, the project came to an abrupt halt in March. Fleming Construction, LLC crews have placed temporary aggregate and reopened the street to vehicular traffic and parking until roadway construction resumes.  Residents will receive notice prior to work resuming. 

This month, Fleming Construction, LLC crews started roadway pavement operations on North Olympia Street, North Solomon Street, Stuart Court, Flowerdale Court, and Delgado Street.  Additionally, crews have performed new sidewalk and driveway apron installations on parts of St. Ann, Wilson, Moss, and Dumaine streets. The unique St. John Court’s sewer point repairs were completed earlier this month, and crews will return for full roadway reconstruction in May 2021.

Fleming Construction, LLC crews continue sewer and pavement work as part of the City Park Group A infrastructure improvement project. This month, crews are working on Roosevelt and Picheloup Places performing sewer line repairs and replacements. They have recently begun the same work on North Hennessey Street. Pavement work continues on St. Ann, North Solomon, and Stewart streets.  Next month, full recosntruction of St. John Court begins.
