NAVARRE GROUP A NEARING COMPLETION

The $9.1M Navarre Group A project, which began construction in February 2020, continues to move forward as scheduled. Contractor Hard Rock Construction Co., LLC has completed waterline tie-ins and drainage work ahead of asphalt installation on the 5500 and 5600 blocks of Catina Street. Crews are moving to General Diaz Street following the completion of paving on Catina Street in early October. Significant progress on the project was made during the summer of 2021 and work is nearing 90% completion – the project is expected to finalize in fall 2021, weather permitting. Coordination is ongoing with residents to ensure that site clean-up and final, punch list items are addressed by the contractor before the project is completed.
