Concrete crews began forming curbs and gutter bottoms on South Park Place, and additional crews also continued working on sidewalks and driveway aprons on Central Park, South Park and Conscino streets. The binder layer of asphalt has been installed on South Park Place, Binder is one of the final layers of asphalt in the roadway restoration process.
The project, which began in February 2020, includes $7M worth of infrastructure improvements and affects nearly two dozen streets in the area. In addition to repairing and replacing damaged roadways and patching concrete, crews will repair sidewalks, driveway aprons and curbs on various streets throughout the project area. Work is scheduled to be complete in summer 2021, weather permitting.
