MORE GREEN ALLEYWAYS AND STORMWATER LOTS CONSTRUCTED IN PONTILLY

Fleming Construction Co. and Twin Shores are working to complete and plant huge stormwater lots throughout the historic Pontchartrain Park neighborhood. These “green” lots will function as a dry retention area that is capable of holding thousands of gallons of water that would otherwise cause flooding. Many of the stormwater lots are adjacent to semipermeable alleyways that will allow water to be absorbed through the pavers into an aggregate base.
