We are making significant headway in fixing our infrastructure. Combining local and federal dollars, our $2.3 billion Capital Improvement Project is the most comprehensive infrastructure revamp our region has seen in decades. The City is giving new projects the go-ahead and working to keep current projects on schedule so that we can swiftly work to improve our roads.

The Little Woods Group A Patch, Mill, Overlay and Incidental Road Repair project began in September. This $14M project was designed by MSSM Engineering, LLC and is being constructed by Command Construction, LLC.

Construction on the second project in the Village De L’Est area continues on Endeavers Court, Expedition Drive, and Beaucaire Street. Learn more about the project by viewing a copy of the public meeting presentation here.

Command Construction Industries, LLC crews completing remaining sidewalk, driveway and patching roadway work on the Read Boulevard West Group A project. This is the first of two projects planned in the neighborhood.

Construction continues on New Orleans East bridges. Construction contractor, Durr Heavy Construction, LL C, recently completed work on the Morrison Canal Bridge at Morrison and Mayo roads.  Crews are now working on the Citrus Canal Bridge at Lake Forrest.
