This month, Command Construction Industries crews are performing sewer line replacements on North Rocheblave Street at Orleans Avenue, St. Peters Street at North Robertson Street, St. Ann at North Prier Street to Interstate 10, and St. Ann Street at North Prier Street to Orleans Avenue. The work is part of the Treme-Lafitte Group B infrastructure improvement project.

Residents will continue to receive notice of work involving utility disruptions and / or the impact of parking and access to their street.

This $8M project was designed by Meyers Engineering, LTD. The scope of work varies block by block but includes the following:

• Resurfacing the roadway with asphalt or concrete;
• Repairing damaged curbs;
• Repairing damaged sidewalks and driveway aprons;
• Installing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant curb ramps at intersections; and
• Replacing / repairing damaged underground water and drainage lines.
