Dieudonne Enterprises, LLC construction crews have successfully replaced each of the four water lines planned as part of the Youth Study Center Streets infrastructure improvement project in the Pilotland area.
This $2.4M project is now 20 percent complete and includes:
- replacing damaged water lines on Cadillac St. between Senate – Harrison
- replacing damaged water lines on Cadillac St. between Foy – Caton
- replacing damaged water lines on Davey St. between Milton – Davey
- repaving more than 14 blocks of roadway in either asphalt or concrete
Crews are currently installing new concrete pavement, ADA and sidewalks on Encampment St. and at the curve of Milton and Davey streets.
The project is designed to improve access to the recently built McDonogh 35 High School and the Youth Study Center. This is the second of three projects that will improve the conditions of infrastructure in the St. Bernard area.
