Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC has placed each of the pre-fabricated concrete bridge arches into place over the North Lagoon at Joe W. Brown Memorial Park. Construction crews are now working on the adjoining roadway approaches.
Visitors can continue to recreate in the park while the existing bridge is being replaced. The $1.2M project will be concluded by the end of August 2017.
The bridge is the first part of a larger investment in the park’s infrastructure. In addition to the bridge construction, the Capital Improvement Program will invest another $1.4M in the park. Patrons are reminded to use caution when walking, driving or biking near active construction sites.
