In August, construction crews installed the second-to-last layer of pavement on Woodlawn, Mound, Vicksburg, Louque, Hawthorne, and Florida streets, and replaced the roadway sub base on West Park, Coscino, and South Park places. Hard Rock Construction crews also added a layer of asphalt to South Park Place.  

The project began in February 2020 with installation of new water lines. The $7M worth of infrastructure improvements will improve nearly two dozen streets in the area. In addition to repairing and replacing damaged roadways and patching concrete, crews will repair sidewalks, driveway aprons and curbs on various streets throughout the project area. Work is scheduled to be complete in summer 2021, weather permitting.
