Hard Rock Construction crews continue roadway repairs in the Navarre neighborhood as part of the Navarre Group A project. This month, crews continued excavating the roadway on Navarre Avenue, Hawthorne Place and Aynard Court. Crews also began installing asphalt in the 800 block of Navarre as well as on General Diaz, Charles Place, and at the Park Place intersections.

New sidewalks and driveway aprons were poured along Charles Place, and curbs and gutterbottoms were installed on General Diaz between Greenwood and Voison streets.

The project began in February 2020 and its $7M worth of infrastructure improvements affects nearly two dozen streets in the area. In addition to repairing and replacing damaged roadways and patching concrete, crews will repair sidewalks, driveway aprons and curbs on various streets throughout the project area. Work is scheduled to be complete in summer 2021, weather permitting.
