The Youth Study Center Streets Construction Project in the Pilotland neighborhood is scheduled be completed this month. The project was temporarily demobilized as requests for additional scope and funding were processed. Dieudonne Enterprises, LLC construction crews are now repaving Davey Street from Senate Street to Harrison Avenue, installing additional new sidewalks and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant ramps at intersections, and planting minor landscaping.
The $2.4M project improves access to the recently-built McDonogh 35 High School and the Youth Study Center. This is the second of three projects that will improve the conditions of infrastructure in the St. Bernard neighborhood.
