On February 4, 2020, crews began excavating portions of Pontalba and Hawthorne streets for the installation of new water lines. The work is part of the $7M infrastructure improvement project that will affect nearly two dozen streets in the area.

In addition to repairing and replacing damaged roadways and patching concrete, crews will repair sidewalks, driveway aprons and curbs on various throughout the project area.
